Say hello to Eva Franco for!

You guys! This year is going to be the year of change for bridesmaids dresses (or pants, what.) I can feel it! has introduced a brand new line of bridesmaid dresses co-designed by top Anthropologie seller Eva Franco and I’m gaga over the designs! asked me to share my thoughts on their designs and blog the images on their launch day {pats self on back}

There are two designs specifically that I know you’re going to love. Don’t worry, for those of you that want to hold tight to tradition there are some stunning dresses that incorporate new textures into classic designs that will make your bridesmaids so happy because they can wear the dresses again and again!

But first, my favorite. The jumpsuit on the right had me like

have not seen a bridesmaid EVER wear anything like this. Can you picture this in your casual backyard wedding with a gorgeous loose chignon and simple jewelry? Or at your posh wedding with EPIC Jimmy Choo’s and long silky hair (hang on, I’m having a Jennifer Lawrence moment, remember that jumpsuit she wore for the cover of Glamour when Hunger Games came out?) Ok. Seriously though, you can jazz this up or play it down however you like. The versatility of a jumpsuit is perfect. Word.

The next one I REALLY wanted to put as number one since crop tops are the rage right now. But ultimately I decided the jumpsuit would be more widely accepted. But still, how fun is this cropped top in this richly textured material?

Ok, runner up for the top spot were these sweet frocks that have a traditional cut with a twist. A romantic peekaboo layer over a comfortable sheath looks like it would wear well during a day of bouquet-carrying, train-bustling and water-running. Because we all know that bridesmaids work hard on a wedding day. Add a slim belt and chunky jewelry or a wide belt and ditch the jewelry for a more metropolitan look. Also, if I had a nickel for every time a girl told me that she was self conscious of her arms I’d practically be a Kardashian. So this style with the peekaboo sleeves is perfect because: sleeves.

Next we have one that is bringing sexy back. This dress is business in the front and party in the back, see what I did there? This SUPER traditional cut for the front with sweet, vintage, lace leaves your beautiful bridesmaids demure and covered up. But dang, turn it around it’s all about the back!! Work those lats at the gym girls because it is time to show off your gainz!!!

And last but not least is the pair that I found the simplest, sweetest, and most classic of the bunch. Blush and navy, like mason jars and burlap wedding decor, will probably never go out of style.

Here are a few other styles they are featuring:
